Why would we expect anything to be different? It’s the beauty and the fulness of the creation of eternal Spirit. Is it any wonder that we can describe a Grand Unified Theory of Humanity? Should we believe that awakening to core Self would not be followed by the ability to create and live Purpose? No, it is inevitable.
However, it is not easy. Why? Because we still have old Ego circuitry imprinted in our being, conflicts will arise. We need to learn some things, and when we do, productive, satisfying, effortless, focused work occurs, work in clicking off goals one after another, goals that effect our Mission which expresses our Vision which gives form to our Purpose that is the expression of core Self to this world. Yes! It all works together in this beautiful flow. To enjoy this flow, to live and work in this flow, we need to deal with the Ego conflicts. It’s not really that difficult, but sometimes it feels better to let Ego have its way and sway. Sometimes excuses feel good, let us off the hook, but they never help accomplish anything positive, productive, or peaceful. They create turmoil. Ego. What do we do? Several actions serve us well to keep us in the flow of really powerful work so we even mow through the little daily goals with ease and joy. I will state these simple things, but I am not doing it glibly. I just can’t elaborate on something that we can only apply personally to our own experience. Here they are. We need to allow blessing and goodness to flow into our lives. I know they are all around me, comments and insights from people when they don’t even know they are giving such. I take experiences like a baby’s smile, a student’s observation about some writing or project I am helping with, comments and likes about my posts on social media, offers of help from friends or times they ask me to go out. And scads more. If I allow Ego to make me discount such things in responses of false humility or abject disbelief or excuses to not respond, then I miss out on blessings and goodness. Recognize and allow these simple — and sometimes greater — experiences and be blessed. Recognize that the Universe, eternal Spirit itself, works such things together for our good. The resulting feelings and mindset assure us of the reality and value of elements of life like synchronicity and help to keep us moving in our mission and accomplishing our goals seamlessly and effortlessly — along with our motivation. The flip side of allowing positives into our lives is releasing negative things — letting go. The definition of negative changes when we know core Self and create life Purpose. They aren’t defined as bad things; they are simply any habits, thoughts, actions, relationships, or whatever that don’t help us move onward and upward in expressing core Self. These will be things generated by our own Ego or others’ Egos forcing themselves on us. In my life there are complex reasons I have watched television. Now, I never had any desire to allow this to be an avocation, but I watched enough that it interfered with my writing and work at times. Release it until writing is done. Sometimes it may be spending money I am not comfortable with. Let the thing go, whatever it was: don’t buy it. Many possibilities present themselves for all of us. Allowing and releasing eliminate many Ego challenges that impede working in the flow. Once you experience working in the flow, you understand the power of a Heart-generated daily life, the power and blessing of expressing You in a very real way. The only way Spirit as given to us in our Heart can know the fullness and joy of this complex human existence is through coming here in us, leaving us to discover Self, and then living that Self in the physical body. That’s why work is so important — meaningful, full, diligent, soul- and mind-thrilling work. Walt Whitman truly understood this. In “Crossing Brooklyn Ferry,” he says in Section 5, “I too had been struck from the float forever held in solution, / I too had receiv’d identity by my body, / that I was I knew was of my body, and what I should be I knew I should be of my body.” That phrase of being “struck from the float…” means he was from that field of eternal Spirit energy and the way Spirit has to engage in feeling this existence is through our bodies, so we receive that identity of Spirit in the form of Heart, core Self. If we are to be true to that Self, we need to validate it through our work. This is why our work must be centered on expressing that Self, but it has to be real work. And the only way to work in the spirit of Spirit is in the flow, that idea of the “float forever held in solution.” We must express it. So, allow the blessings and goodness that encourage us in the work, and release the negative energy that hinders the work. Sometimes, that includes the actual job in which we are currently employed. It’s an awesome, thrilling mandate to think we give experience to Spirit. Wow! Maybe more tomorrow. Blessings!
