Hey! How are you doing tonight. This is going to be different. In fact, several things are going to be different for awhile. I realize I have done things pretty much the same way for almost eighteen full months. I have followed my Heart. I have learned a lot.
One thing I have learned is to look honestly at the way things are. When I started this blogging gig, I had no idea where I was headed, how long I would do this. As I have continued to write, I believe I have offered value to my readers. In fact, I — obviously — am not in this for fame or money. It seems I cannot crack the 1,000 followers barrier in IG or FB, let alone Twitter. I haven’t tried, but as I kept posting, the numbers grew — almost a thousand on both. My focus has been my writing. And I have improved — at least in my estimation. I have enjoyed the range of topics, the depth I have explored, and the quality of writing. I have learned that I can produce during stressful times, party times, even when I was WUI — writing under the influence! It has been 523 days as of tonight, and I’m calling it a wrap for this phase of my work. Oh, I will definitely still be posting on social media. I will blog occasionally, but it will be a new season, just like with the big vloggers. The fact is we are preparing to take a little trip, and even though I love this work, I only have so much time. Not to mention energy. I have basically run myself to the point of exhaustion, and I need the break to step back, evaluate, and determine how I will proceed. One of the things I will be doing is putting in much more time on publishing my works for distribution. I need to work on my website — I don’t even have an email list or capture page. I hope you have valued some of my work enough to respond to that when I offer it! I am creating several nonfiction books from topics I have explored and written about in this blog. I am about to embark on serious, extensive work on my novel, too, including finishing the rewrite of the first and re-constructing the second, which I lost the 50,000 + words to when my computer was infected with malware. All this to say that this will be the last daily blog for a bit. A week or two? I’m not sure, but I will certainly let you know via the social media platforms. I hope you know, really, deeply, sincerely hope you know, how much I value you. I haven’t invested this time, haven’t learned and applied the lessons for myself only. In fact, I could have done thousands of other things besides this if I were the only one involved. My Mission, my Heart-energized Mission, is to not only continue discovering life and magic for myself but also helping you to discover Self and create Purpose. I hope by exploring such broad swaths of life through my metaphysical lens, you have heard your Heart speak to you about these ideas and that you see yourSelf in relation to it all. So, blessings. Please know that even though I won’t be writing that word every single night for awhile, I will still be doing that, seeking your blessing!

Almost five years ago, I finally had a full, conscious encounter with my Heart, a specific evening when I came to fully know Self, unhindered by Ego. Now, that does not mean Ego was not present; it just did not get a say. I chose Heart, to speak to, listen to, and filter all my thoughts and emotions through.
What else happened that evening, you know, besides discovering Self? Well, you probably know the answer if you follow my work at all. For anyone thinking Heart-based choices, processing, and energy means something soft, fuzzy, and squishy, you’re wrong. Ego lies through using rationalizations in influencing emotions and mind to isolate us in myriad contradictory ways. Heart makes us face where we are in life, leads us to ask the tough questions, and asks us to make decisions. That night, my Heart asked me, worked through my mind and soul, to make me choose: “What is your purpose? What do you want to do? What have you always felt? It’s here; in us.” That night I knew I wanted to really focus on discovery and to express my discoveries in written and any communication arts forms that worked with it. What I didn’t know that night was how much I didn’t know — about the auxiliary skills I would need if I planned on publishing. Editors, graphic designers, readers, marketing that encompass skills many devote their lives to. I am damn glad I didn’t know about it all beforehand. I still don’t know evrything I need to know, but sometimes ignorance eliminates the stumbling blocks of fear and analysis paralysis. I know enough to know how much I don’t know. In fact, as a teacher, I know it helps to have some knowledge, but there is no reality to knowledge until it is required. I will get it when I need it. However, for three years, I meandered in my writing because I felt I needed to learn so much. I didn’t, though, until I had a body of work. I was passionate about and wrote poetry, some good and some not. My Ego let me know I couldn’t produce an income, and that made me question everything. At times, well-meaning souls — friends, acquaintances, former colleagues — just asked simple questions. I took their questions as criticism because I couldn’t answer if I would be able to sell my work and make money. This was and is a matter of faith, a faith that would propel me to action. I still can’t answer that question, but mornings like this morning in fellowship with my Heart make me face and realize a few things. The most important may be this: that moment of creation of purpose after discovering Self, connecting with Heart, was not a one time proposition. I must make a decision to write, say yes to opportunities, and learn and grow and definitely step out of comfort zones — a huge commitment without any distinct knowledge of income flow. And I must do that and exercise faith daily.The gauge of genuine faith is action. I must write. What about you? What has discovering Self and creating purpose resulted in for you? What work has radiated from your faith? Just speak to your Heart if you can’t answer these things. Heart always answers. Blessings! Yes, I know my writing this past week has been kind of heavy duty. Tonight, though, will be shorter and much more informal. Normally, I wouldn’t even tell you that, but tonight is a rather sharp departure from the last week. It’s part of my work as a writer.
I’m a writer by choice. I created my fate because I heard my Heart. I realized there is that deep part of me, that Spirit within me, the energy, dynamic standing in antithesis to Ego energy. When I acknowledged that, spoke with that part of myself, I knew there was more. All those times I felt like there was more, all those times I prayed to find that greater purpose, to recognize it, it was always there— in me. It was my decision, my creation. Having weighed, considered, felt, and brooded, I knew the purpose I wanted to create. I’ve written about it before, extensively, but to recap here, I created my purpose to keep discovering for myself, to be Discovery, and to express that through communication arts and writing in particular. Part of that has required me to do things, learn things, and create beyond anything I would have imagined when I made that declaration. It was my Declaration of Independence from my Ego, Ego whose impulse and energy made me believe for so many years I was incapable of being a creator, Ego who convinced me that some power or intelligence greater than mine would have to mysteriously reveal my purpose. Yeah, that was Ego bullshit. Now, I write. Today, in my work as a writer, I have faced one of those tasks necessary to do if I want to remain free in my Heart-purpose. It may sound simple, and to published authors it may be. However, categorizing a book like my short Discovering Self and Creating Purpose presents a lot of questions. Where does it best match the genre descriptions in a master genre database? If it could conceivably be in more than one, which it can, which one would be most beneficial for people to find it? Then, I need to find five or six other books close to mine thematically within the genre. Time consuming for me. Engaging in this work creates significance, fulfillment, and joy for me because I know I’m doing what I have created. I feel great about it because I share my love through this. I strive to help others discover self and see that they have that ability to create their purpose. It’s fun. It’s challenging. I love doing it. Having said all this, I definitely wish to get my book out quickly. I mean, if I find joy like this, I want to share it. And it’s not sharing a secret formula or anything like that; I simply want to show others the tools, the ideas, the framework of what I have used and experienced and let others discover and create for themselves. That’s where Heart-reality comes in. Because I value this and the setting in which I live and the ability to find information, express myself with no official reprisals to fear, and eventually realize income some way, some how, connected with this, I write about this America in which I live. I have written about the Heart-energized beginnings and the current threats to that presented by a severely Ego-distorted “leadership.” Ego, however, doesn’t only have claim on those at high levels expressing a disdain for Heart energy as they have abandoned that and given themselves over to their Ego, which is not a sin until they do things that impinge on the rights and freedoms of others, especially to live in Heart-truth. So, when that happens, I care, I am concerned, and I cannot refrain from exposing it in my work. It’s me, no apologies. Tonight and tomorrow I will continue doing the work to get Discovering Self and Creating Purpose available to the general public, many of whom have not rejected Heart but rather just haven’t heard it. My hope is for readers to know the reality of the title. My joy is to enter into the fellowship of the Heart with those who follow their Heart. So, onward in my determination of genre, comparison to others in that genre, and crafting a final product with my little team. And I do love this work. Blessings! I want to make a few things clear up front tonight, because I’m getting very specific about politics. I will never again align myself with a party platform. They don’t mean as much as I thought they did when I was younger. I will also confess that the current president is not presidential; I don’t think he is fit to be in the office he is in. That is not because a certain brand of person should be there; it’s because he has little care for the founding principles, documents, structure, rights, freedoms, and laws of America. Being a billionaire, if he truly is one, means nothing in leading a nation.
The foundation of America, as I have shown in many articles, was rooted in Heart-based energy, and it is inclusive and applicable to peoples beyond the borders of this nation. So, yes, in a way, I’m a globalist. I think globally and believe America should act globally. However, that is not saying we change our foundational structure. I believe our foundational structure can accommodate that. Others have, too. The fact that this 45th president is revered by a minority, a dwindling minority, as a businessman and that businessmen will “save” this country appalls me. This nation was not founded on business principles of modern corporate America. The “business” principles referred to in founding documents, which are used as support so often by the Wall Street thinking types, were freedom and right principles, and they included ideas and philosophies far beyond “business” and apparently beyond the ability of people who think like that to comprehend. Trump is no savior and no boon because he is a businessman. That all being said, my bias being exposed, I wish to bring the concluding thoughts about the fraud of this Voter Fraud Commission. Last night I asked about the deeper issues involved in it, and those I will address tonight. The deeper issues are spiritual ones, not religious mind you, but they have to do with those two operating systems of Ego and Heart. Ego isolates, and that isolation can be expressed in thousands of ways. It’s not necessarily easy to call, and in general, not something I even care to do, especially in my everyday world. However, when Ego manifests in hurtful ways, destructive ways that sacrifice the common good and general welfare (sound familiar?), then my Heart, my disposition, my being, inclines towards shedding light. I won’t fight that. I want to make clear I do not believe some formula has been passed down from ages past to structure an oligarchy of evil. No, but the dynamic force of Ego has not changed, so as I speak of the treatment of Native Americans — some of whom acted in brutal Ego destruction and those actions were used to fuel an oligarchy of an informal conspiracy of control — as I discuss this, the spiritual forces are parallel. The White oligarchs of the 19th century worked on the sentiments of the unawakened masses to rouse them against Native Americans. The brutality of the government was ameliorated and enforced by the wicked, evil, Ego practice of Manifest Destiny. I truly have no respect or care about any policies that destroy one race of people against another. That’s exactly what Manifest Destiny did to the Native Americans. How did the government controllers, the true behind-the-scenes controllers (ahem, ahem, Bannon, Kushner, et al) corral and coerce the tribes? They divided them. They set them against one another. They also made promises that the Indigenous Peoples neither understood nor would have agreed to if they did. This was NOT their fault, nor is it ours today. Amazingly, as has happened with the Dakota Access Pipeline and as is being proposed in grabbing monument and sacred tribal lands from the People, this administration and its minions are using the exact same strategies: Manifest Destiny, promises of big money payoffs, and an unspoken belief in the inferiority of the Native races. It makes me want to puke, not only does it sicken me that this oligarchy believes they can do the same thing but also that so many willingly ignorant egomaniacs support it — because of money, wealth, economic improvements. It is NEVER okay or a Heart motive to destroy, degrade, or denigrate a culture for pecuniary gain — NEVER. But those in the past did. They vilified the Native Americans and justified their destruction. Oh, they didn’t call it destruction but rather said it was for the progress of christian people. Bull-fucking-shit. If you have never read Dee Brown’s Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, you may not understand this. Brown states this about the years between 1860–1890: “It was an incredible era of violence, greed, audacity, sentimentality, undirected exuberance, and an almost reverential attitude toward the ideal of personal freedom for those who already had it” (Brown xi). Do you get that, my friend? What occurred was the societal engineers, the oligarchs, the Trump et al of the time, convinced the unawakened masses that they had a right to be wealthy and these savages stood in the way, presented a real and present danger to the civilized, christian way of life, that their freedom was preeminent and to be protected at all costs — even though they had more freedom than any people in history — and worked them up into an “undirected exuberance.” The common mass of unawakened now had an Ego substitute for their own Heart-energy. And the Native Americans received promises of pittance payments for lands, were given the barest minimum necessary to sustain life in the areas into which they had been forced, and then when value or convenience or sheer murderous intent kicked in, they were displaced or slaughtered once again. There was and is no excuse. There is, however, a reason, the only reason: a malevolent group of oligarchs manipulated, deceived, and eliminated any threat to their power base. They turned the minds and souls of the apathetic and Ego-influenced masses to a common enemy. And the oligarchs and Egomaniacs would say these things: “Threats against us, which Trump and his team have shown us, abound: those damned Muslims and liberals and those who don’t think like us, and those fucking journalists lying to the left us, lying to the right of us, exposing Ego-hypocrisy. How dare they! And then, those asshole democrat liberals who have stolen our ‘great America,’ the one that it is our Manifest Destiny to have, they have subverted the voting process. We’ll get them! “Let’s establish a voter fraud commission. Let’s nullify their power. Oh, we can’t tell you how we will do that, but let’s gather them all together through voting records, disaggregate them by voting records and concerns and offer some good stuff to some and to the rest nothing and turn them against one another and confuse them. By god, they won’t be able to upset our power base in the 2018 elections then.” If you think I’m wrong and ranting, I only have one defense: wait and see. If you think that this whole appeal to many, even though they are a minority, is spurious, wait and see. Do you want to know the duplicity that abounds, that confuses even Trump’s adherents? He wants to create a super cybersecurity pact with the Russians, enter into a partnership, with the very ones who were the criminals in interfering with our democratic election process through cyber hacking! How can anyone not only be calling Trump a purposeful hypocrite and threat to America but also be calling for his immediate removal? Well, I have written my Heart. As I said last evening, the best answer to all of this — and it is not hopeless — begins with awakening to Heart, discovering Self and creating Purpose. Then, we understand the threat to others and our own freedoms because we wish to engage in our “certain unalienable rights” of “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” Begin there. Then, hear your Heart for how to proceed, how to express your love to this Universe. Some may shine light; some may resist darkness; some may just go on in developing their purpose that includes no political involvement. I’m just walking in my Heart-purpose, helping others to discover Self, which includes, sometimes, shedding light into dark places. Blessings! Over the last two days, I have been heading towards my topic tonight. Heart-energy predominated the founding of America as evidenced in the numerous documents, letters, resolutions, and declarations. Yes, Ego presented in various ways, but Heart guided in structuring not only the government but also the nature, the prevailing character that should mark the nation.
My concern has been the backing the current president and his “group” have received, and the most recent debacle — well, I don’t know the outcome of the G20 summit — has been the Voter Fraud Commission. Wait, isn’t it good to eliminate problems, to make America stronger, and to give more credibility and validity to our elections and therefore our government? One of the big problems is there is no problem, none that won’t exist anyway. So what’s up with this? First of all, who voted to implement this commission, authorized it to request any sort of information? Then, how is this information going to be used? What energy is evidenced by this move? What are the deeper issues? The establishment and implementation of this Commission was via executive order. I don’t know the legal trail of court decisions and/or legislation that has made these executive orders so prevalent and pervasive, but when I read those founding documents, such actions would have been censured, clearly so, as monarchical, freedom-threatening actions. You can call it what you will or explain how important it is, but We the People are the ones who give the authority. This point, by the way, applies to any president from any party. To quote myself from this morning, “in the Declaration of Rights, Section 2, we find ‘That all power is vested in, and consequently derived from, the people; that magistrates are their trustees and servants and at all times amenable to them’ (124). The fact that this was a major theme clearly communicated at the time is seen in the Declaration of Independence, penned about a month later. In reference to our freedom to live our rights, it says ‘That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and institute new Government’ (143). And the Constitution begins with ‘We the People.’ We do it.” We the People have not morphed into I the President. As far as I’m concerned, they have no authority; they are not potentates, monarchs, or even benevolent dictators. The president and any elected official is accountable and should answer to us “at all times.” The spirit of arrogance of this current president reeks of Ego. He does not view himself as accountable to anyone. In fact, he is damn near being “destructive of these ends,” the ends of equality of all, “certain unalienable rights,” rights that cannot be changed, removed, or distorted by a president or the government in general. To demand that states turn over voter information of a sensitive nature threatens my right as a voter to a secret ballot. By the way, why doesn’t the commission just garner the information that’s available? What are they trying to do? Some legal scholars have, since the beginning, debated whether we have an inherent right to vote. I sometimes believe that the bloated self-importance of such people interferes with their ability to think clearly. I know of some judicial precedence that applies here, but I will flat out say it’s stupid. If we have representatives who are accountable to us at all times, then how in the hell do we get them? If the founders in Heart-energy didn’t intend this as one of the most basic “unalienable rights,” why did Congress and the president, after freeing the slaves in the 13th Amendment and the end of the Civil War, feel the need to address voting rights in the 15th Amendment? The freedoms in America include the right to vote, which is so basic that newly freed slaves were assured this. This 45th president is playing with one of our most basic rights. If this commission gains the sort of information they really want, what will it mean? How does it infringe on our right to vote and other rights? They want to aggregate data so they may characterize voting blocks and target them, exactly like marketers do. What bill of goods are they selling? The most dangerous sort: they want more control to implement their version of law and order, of some mythical America where rich white men make all the rules (the Founders, by the way didn’t make rules; they defined rights and freedom — like I said, mythical). And I’m still not finished with this topic, but I am finished for tonight. What I have addressed tonight and will yet write of implies action must be taken. The most essential for this country right now is to impeach the 45th president, but that is not much of an action by us. We need to care about, become informed, and demand accountability from our representatives at every level. Our current apathy and voting record based on how much wealth we might be able to accumulate is part of our rights being subtly, painlessly, and indiscernibly stripped away. Communication systems must be implemented, but I will deal with this at some point. Think about this, because I have no doubt if 10,000 people read this, 9,999 could come up with better ideas than me, you brilliant people, you! Oh, the most personal and effective action would be to discover Self and create Purpose. This would help us identify in a much broader sense with the Heart-energy powering the founding of America.
