Tonight continues the development of the “Elements of Awakening” in my ebook. I hope it is more solid and specific for any who have read my earlier thoughts about crafting and creating a Vision of what Purpose will look like in everyday life.
Vision Now, the fun continues. Vision is that mental image we design, create, and craft in our mind. This is a real action step, albeit a mental action, one that brings us to the verge of execution. It’s damn hard to execute if you don’t see the big picture. We craft the big picture by turning the noun into verbs: envision and visualize. What do we envision or visualize? Are there guidelines or something? Nope, but I will share what I have experienced and what I think may be helpful. I think the most productive way visualization leads to manifestation of that vision begins with focusing on origins. Remember the character, personality, words, and voice of the core Self we have come to know and with whom we have worked in creating Purpose. I also want to consider — I start with this — how I want to feel, what emotions I want to experience. I wanted to feel significant using the abilities I felt drawn to, studied, taught, and practiced: writing and speaking. If we have determined the emotions we wish to experience in our vision, then we can ask another question: How do I want Me, core Self, my new name, to look in this world? I live core Self in my personal truth, that truth of who I am and the new name which expresses the purpose of Self. Since my Purpose is characterized, built around, and named Discovery, everything I do revolves around that. My Vision, then, is how do I want to discover? Do you see how many possibilities exist in this purpose? I could pursue and practice any number of sciences: biology, geology, chemistry, physics, astronomy… . I could have continued as a classroom teacher, for many facets of discovery exist there. So many possibilities exist. Now, do you see how emotions play into crafting Purpose? Which one of all the possible options will help me feel the way I want to feel, to allow me to act passionately and significantly according to my perception on a daily basis? For me, it has been communication, writing and speaking about the topics on which I write. I get to discover by reading and research, by traveling and learning, by observing life with heightened perception and magic, and by challenging myself whether in physical, mental, or soul conditioning. I can do almost anything and see connections, lessons — make discoveries. I collect experience, connect those experiences to all I am and all I know, and create discoveries. It’s me. The question is for each of us: What expresses Me, the core Self, not the Ego self shaped by opinions, expectations, and manipulations of others? I take my experiences, and I write about the discoveries and the insights I see. I visualize how I feel when I finish a piece of writing, when others read it, how we will react and interact with each other because of the discoveries. I love that. And that’s another way I know my Purpose: I love the envisioned results. I see the joy of discovery I have and the possibilities for fellow creatures. It excites me, energizes me, and makes me feel significant and loved. Of course, I enjoy writing every day. I can’t imagine not writing. Oh, not to mention the fact that I would do it even if I did not get paid for it, which is a big Ego ploy in lobbying for a voice in the decision making process; money, income is what is acceptable and makes sense to a status quo society. It doesn’t bother me. I haven’t gotten paid yet — not saying I won’t because I will, but I have learned over the past few years that I would be lost without writing — money or not. When considering Vision, remember that it is a very real emotional and mental action. We envision and visualize how we want to feel and what we want core Self to look like and be known by in this world. Here are some questions that may help you in thinking about Vision: What could I do every day to express core Self, something I would do whether or not I got paid for it? What could I do every day that I will remain passionate about? How does my possible Vision show love for Self and others? Those considerations might help to get the ball rolling, if you need help. Remember, this is not an Ego pressure, emergency situation. It’s not the business rules of the world. There’s absolutely nothing noble about applying educational, business, or societal standards when creating the life of core Self according to personal truth. No one or nothing else means anything for this. For those who may wonder about doing things that are harmful to others, I would first say that is total Ego-reasoning. I would then add that Heart does not dictate harm or destruction in creating Vision. Visualize, craft, create, and rejoice in this element of awakening. It is exciting and sets the stage for Vision to translate into physical form.

Questions to consider:How many times have you asked yourself or simply thought about the following questions?
Who am I, really? What is my truth? How do my actions reveal what I really feel and believe? What would I do with my life if I could do anything? What is my passion? Why am I here? How can I discover answers to any of these questions? If you have considered any of these questions, I hope that my experiences and writing will give you some guidance. Please read my blog and comment and share your thoughts. I would love to hear from you! Archives
