[Note: I wrote this last night. I had some sort of computer virus and spent hours on finally getting it sorted out, thanks to Apple updates! At any rate, yes, this was finished last night, but I couldn’t upload till all I healed my computer this morning, May 3! My point is I still have written a blog post every day for the last 452 days!]
I participated in a teleseminar yesterday produced by Kimberly V. Schneider; she based it on her book Everything You Need Is Right Here: Five Steps to Manifesting Magic and Miracles. She asked me if I would be her client during the time based on a question I had submitted to her. The takeaway for me from this session? Limiting beliefs are often operative when energy blocks seem to be at work. We must connect to that part of self, probably a shadow self who is reasoning that we can’t move forward for some reason or another. When we establish a trust relationship with that shadow self, we are able to accept and embrace that part of us enough to continue beyond the limiting belief boundaries. Ego-produced shadows are to some degree disarmed, and then we may launch out to do exhilarating Self things when we know true safety and security comes from within, from Heart, eternal Spirit in us. I was reminded of a quote often attributed to Mark Twain; however, there is no textual support for him as the source. It’s a great quote, anyway: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sail. Explore. Dream. Discover.” In order to do that, we must first know ourselves, hear and respond to Heart. Then, we know how to relate to all those Ego-energies such as shadow selves that would keep us from casting off from the harbor where all is safe and secure and sailing into the reasons we came here: to explore, dream, discover. It’s not always easy to find the right wind. That’s why we really need to know Self to engage in this journey of life in which we mortals bear eternal Spirit to experience the magnificence of this creation. Heart-energy powers the exploration of our interests, talents, soul, emotions, abilities, skills. We dream of what might be with all of that. Then, ah then, we discover. Dreaming is an internal job. Discovering is working out the dreams, finding them by creating them through our actions, execution. That’s where I’m headed; that’s what I’m doing. How about you? Blessings!
