I can’t pretend I’m not enjoying my life right now. I think some people feel like I shouldn’t be — no “job” and all, you know. Doesn’t matter. I know magic; I’ve entered into the magic of the purpose of life, my Purpose in this life, and part of that magic is knowing I am encouraging a few folks. However, I have no intention of connecting with only a few folks, because I’m connected with eternal Spirit, which means I’m connected to the Universe. That’s a lot of souls and a lot of energy and even more love.
I wrote this morning about the magic of life. Most people think of magic as manipulating the physical world to make things easier like in the famous Harry Potter novels. Wave a wand, say words infused with energy, and you open a door or wash the dishes by some mystical process. Okay, that would be cool, and I think this is the appeal of the common understanding of magic: do things that transcend mortal, natural boundaries. However, the reality of magic to me lies in comprehending and responding to a knowledge of the supernatural in us — supernatural: above nature. How can that be? Sometimes simple ideas are the ones most easily missed, and here’s one. Our mortal bodies contain immortality. The Bible even states this in Ecclesiastes 3:11: “He has set eternity in their hearts.” We have the essence of divinity, and we can live it while we are here. Heart gives us direct access to eternal Spirt, the great Creator, and we have the privilege and opportunity of co-creating, of living immortal truths here in mortal bodies. That’s magic, but it’s not the full expression of it. It gets better. We awaken to the magic, use the magic, and live the magic when we awaken to our unique core Self. While everyone has immortality in them, we have specific identities and inclinations, and Heart work puts us in contact with Spirit to discover self, which means we discover not only who we really are but also what our personal truth is, truth that informs us of Purpose, of the way we may connect to every soul in this Universe. It doesn’t mean we will meet everyone or influence them, but the expression of core Self connects us in love to everyone — a divine unity. Magical. How can we enter into this realm of magic? Realize we are the intersection of Mortal Ave. and Immortality Rd. in these bodies and then seek directions from Heart for following Immortality Road. That’s where we have access to the supernatural, where we can rise above what seems to be “realistic.” That’s where Ego would keep us stuck at the intersection or send us down Mortal Ave. However, when we realize eternity dwells in us and we can seek it, through Heart, we embark down the road of living immortality in our mortal bodies, filled with the energies of life, of the whole freakin’ universe. Ego will keep us unmagical Muggles traveling along Mortal Ave, though, if we don’t seek Heart. Do you know, then, what magic is? When we actively fellowship with our own heart to discover how to allow, access, acknowledge, and express the Immortal, Eternal Us existing in these bodies — a Divine Paradox yet real and maybe not a paradox at all. Just truth to be accepted, a shift in our paradigm. Mortal Immortals. When we seek that connection, we will start experiencing the magic of life. Oh, some want to be able to wave a wand and open a door. The wand of the heart waved to express core Self and live in connections of Love — that is Magic. And to me, there is more reality than that. Once those personal energies start flowing, we can experience confirmations and impossible opportunities and accomplishments, at least impossible if we are operating based on ego and mortality. Awakening, Awareness. Heart fellowship. Ah, now, get that into The Fellowship of the Heart! And tomorrow, I will share some work from that novel.
