This is the last part of my personal road trip. I hope by sharing my experience it might help someone become more self-aware.
What’s your story? We all have one, the question is how aware are we of it and of the voice of our own Heart.
I have shared these little snatches of my journey to self-awakening. I haven’t tried to dramatize it; I haven’t embellished it even a smidgen for the sake of story. That would be wise, but it would defeat my purpose here.
I wanted to share how very common and personal one’s awakening to core Self can be. Religions or different sorts of groups thrive on getting folks so excited that the “converts” become salespersons. Of course, if salespersons are going to sell, they need to have something to sell — products, services, or systematized beliefs. It’s a natural human emotion to want to share the enthusiasm of anything that enhances our life, so all of those have their place and purpose.
Heart speaks to every human being who arrives on this scene. We vary in personalities, mind-thought processes, and soul-emotional composition. We experience different life events, different effects from ego filters and motives, and plain old different interests. Each one’s Heart knows what to whisper or shout to get our attention.
Because of that, every person who awakens to self has their own story. Sometimes, others’ experiences helps us to become more self-aware. And it’s about as simple as that; therefore, I have shared frameworks I find helpful on my road trip to self awakening, coming to know Heart, core Self. I rejoice that my own Heart, eternal Spirit, has worked throughout my life.
When I share specific ideas, techniques, or methods, they have been useful or meaningful to me. I have no intention of creating a system, dogma, or prescription for self-awakening. Coming to know core Self, Heart, that energy of Spirit in us, means we have access to pure joy; we get to feel the power of Heart working as our mind-soul-body operating system. When we toggle from Ego to Heart, we shift from lower frequency emotions to higher frequencies, higher vibrations of life, and that fills those personal voids almost everyone feels.
I get to enjoy fellowship with my Heart, and I know the positive effects on my emotions, freedom of thoughts, power of an unhindered connection with Spirit. It’s awesome, really. So, I share this little road trip of my life because I know an awful lot of wonderful people who at the end of the day aren’t too happy about their lives. They aren’t wrong; they aren’t unhappy all the time, just like I’m not happy all the time because good old Ego still tries to fulfill its original function.
However, I get to turn to my Heart. I get to use my own magic to express core Self through my purpose, vision, and mission. I choose to experience my life as I create it.
Questions to consider:
How many times have you asked yourself or simply thought about the following questions?
Who am I, really?
What is my truth?
How do my actions reveal what I really feel and believe?
What would I do with my life if I could do anything?
What is my passion?
Why am I here?
How can I discover answers to any of these questions?
If you have considered any of these questions, I hope that my experiences and writing will give you some guidance. Please read my blog and comment and share your thoughts. I would love to hear from you!
