Loving Self: Honest Relationships and Meaningful Life Start Here!

[Another housekeeping note: My computer woes were rectified today — by wiping the hard drive clean and reinstalling everything. It means I lost 50,000 words of a second novel — a sequel to the first unpublished novel, so maybe not such a great loss! — and my running blog record of 500,000+ words. It’s fixed, though, and I’m grateful. I released my anger at jerk wads, who do things like design and deploy malware, in about eight lines of handwritten journal entry.]
Based on what amounts to a full day wasted on computer problems throughout this week, I would have chucked this whole writing effort — if I did not live through Heart-energy. That energy is my link to the Universe. My Heart is the reason I came to this time-space dimension, the reason any of us do, and if I had not awakened to Heart and created my Purpose that is largely bound up in writing, then I would have been defeated — not a good place to be in, in fact, an Ego response to challenges.
Many may not think of birth and life quite like that, but what we call it doesn’t change experience. When we arrive here with two possible operating systems, Ego and Heart, we are equipped to choose which we use as we mature. Heart is the operating system that allows us maximum performance, which means maximum joy, meaning, and significance — contentment. Ego can mimic these for awhile, but ultimately, we can know if we are operating in Ego if we come back to the same questions: Who am I, really, and what is my purpose in being here? If unanswered — Ego operations!
And tonight, as I am so weary from this challenging week, I would ask anyone who thinks screwing with other people’s lives, through things like identity theft or designing and implementing malware attacks on others, why you cannot answer those questions. Why is it that you hate yourself so much that you express that hatred towards others in such ugly ways? Many times when people are happy and functioning in satisfaction with their lives and not harming others in the process, I absolutely have no way of knowing if they are working via Ego or Heart.
However, when anyone is purposefully harming others and denying them their rights to live in joy, significance of life purpose, and happiness in general, then I know they operate via Ego, which means ultimately, that they will end up with those feelings of emptiness, hopelessness, and seeking again the answers to those two big life questions.
The only answers to those questions that fulfill the reason we came here and give us personal fulfillment is to acknowledge and fellowship with our own Heart and create our life purpose in harmony with Heart. When we realize we are at Heart-level eternal Spirit and we are meant to create our life purpose — not look for it to drop down out of the heavens or have someone else deliver some prophecy — then we can love Self. We cannot have significant, honest, fulfilling relationships without fully knowing and loving Self first. Cannot.
We can truly and deeply and passionately love core Self, love who we are as the complete package of mind, soul, and body equipped with the two operating systems. True love and honest relationships begin with loving Self — not the doubting, denigrating, or self-extolling Ego self, the energy that evaluates one through and in the lenses of family, friends, society, or the world. Contentment and reality and love never come through that. Never ever. No, Self-love emanates from knowing that core Self is eternal Spirit personalized as, in my case, Michael DePung. Then, I create what I intend to do to allow Spirit to express through this mind-soul-body complex of Me.
I may say more about this tomorrow. I have in previous posts, but I don’t have them in this word doc to look up! I know, though, that my identity, confidence, and life purpose is not bound up in a computer or word document. I have all I need right within me. You do, too, so seize it, seize the day, and walk in confidence, joy, contentment, and meaning.
Do it regarding yourself, your core Self, Heart, in the highest regard. Do it in disregard of everyone and everything else who would influence you in any way that is not Heart-energy. Call on your Heart to see yourself, your total being, through Heart eyes and never accept anyone else’s opinion or evaluation, except when you decide it will help.
